Romance and Sexy Clothes on a First Date

Romance and sexy clothes go together as one of the things women and men do when thinking about romance is look to their appearance. Romance and sexy clothes operate hand in hand as going out on that first date or being seen by your new date, girl, girlfriend or boyfriend is a very important matter.

Sexy Clothes are very often on a girls mind when she is getting ready for a first date. That first date is such an uncertain time for girls and guys and things have likely not changed for over a hundred years and likely longer. What to wear? Should I buy something new, wear something old or what do I do as I want to impress him or her? Well we would like to put our feet in the water with some suggestions and tips on the subject of romance, sexy clothes and the first date. The choices are all up to you and wearing the appropriate clothes is essential to the chance of a second date and beyond.

If this is the first time you are going to be alone with the newest guy or girl in your life then the pressure is really on. No wonder people obsess about this subject as it is really very important but stressing out about it will likely result in a skin breakout, excessive sweating and other negative reactions. So what are you to do?

Now is the time to establish a look, routine and outlook for this date and future dates. First is the look and you know you don't want to look boring, staid and ugly but you also need to know that going over the top is not the way to go either. Where are you going on your first date? Out to dinner, a movie, dancing, a party or where do you intend to spend the evening. If you are going to a motel room for the evening then this will be easy but lets put that off to another post. Where you are going is going to give you a great deal of guidance as to what to wear. I will let you in on a little secret and that is I think the first date is about you, not your skirt, top and shoes. Thus you need to dress so that the focus is on you, not your boobs, legs or any other parts of your body. Failure to follow this general principle will likely get you into some difficulty, so don't ignore it. If you are simply going out for sex, then this article is too simple for your needs so don't bother following its guidelines but otherwise keep in mind, you is your face, hair, personality, speech, thoughts and conversation. What you are wearing should be secondary. Don't worry, if you want to look hot there will likely by plenty of time for that, to be sure.

Wearing Sexy Mini Skirts after 40!

Wearing sexy mini skirts after 40 is a practice I encourage as 40 is the new 50!If you are wearing mini skirts after 40 then you have probably turned some heads and probably enjoyed the attention as well. Some fashion "gurus" suggest that women should wear age appropriate clothing and women 40 and over should not dare go past that magic age and wear sexy clothing at such an "advanced" age. Also you should not be a "cougar" which is an older women who looks sexy and wears suggestive or sexy clothing after she is past her prime.

I admit I am of two mind when it comes to women wearing sexy clothes when they are grandmothers. My fashion side suggests that women should dress like women and girls can dress however they like. This is not to say that a girl can violate all standards of good taste and decorum but they certainly have the body to wear short skirts, tight tops and many other items that a woman in her 40's might consider avoiding. But is it the age or the condition of the wearer that decides what a woman should wear. Here is where I part with many of the fashionistas as I firmly believe a woman can and should wear whatever her body allows. This "fashion" side emerged from my mother giving such sage advice as "be sure you are wearing clean underwear in case you get in an accident. While this is good advice it also suggested not to wear white after labor day or nice girls don't wear high heels. This is the same as the advice that suggested I not wear false eyelashes or dye my hair blonde.

My other side suggests that I dress in in what I want, when I want as I am an adult. While there are extremely good reasons to follow fashion mom, I am not in love with the idea that I am in total agreement with the fashion lords and ladies. Sure I watch Project Runway and listen to every word Heidi Klum and Michael Kors as well as Nina Garcia has to say. I generallly agree with their professional opinion, but certainly not always. I tend to dress sexier than I should without being vulgar as that is creepy but have been known to go out without panties, wears 4-5 inch heels although they hurt my feet and love sexy bras and panties.

So should women wear sexy mini skirts after 40? Yes, Yes and Yes!First of all I love the looks from men and enjoy some of the looks women give me as I am sure they are not always complimentary. Am I in perfect shape? No, not really but I am not unattractive, and I try to stay in shape.Does it matter? Yes and no but I am not certain that should be the criteria. Could I wear full length mumus? Sure as I could wear pants which I hate, full length dresses which I detest or skorts which are simply horrid? I chose to wear sexy before sedate, seductive before dull and suggestive before matronly. No I am not one of those persons who loves spandex everything although a bit of spandex in a top is far better than cotton t-shirts that make every woman look sloppy!

While not everyone would agree, Michael, Nina and Heidi, lets not forget that in fashion one day you are in and the next day you are out! B.S. out here in reality fashion is somewhat important but be honest, take a look around. Women certainly more than men are concerned about fashion to a point. But is buying fake bags on Canal Street in N.Y. being fashion conscious? Is shopping at Abercrombie and Fitch being a slave to fashion. Haute couture is splendid but unattainable by most as well as irrelevant. I would much rather women make an occasional fashion faux pax than wear some of the ridiculous items on many runways that serve women little other than lining the pockets of some fashion designer.
